Always superb, must be the most consistent curry house in south notts. To get a meal like this you would usually have to travel to leics.

Food was good and the chef will make the food exactly as you want it-even if what you want is not on the menu! I had my lamb with extra garlic, fresh chillies, and Methi! Proper Indian style! ....and the food was not Oily!

Went with my husband and two girlfriends. The free wine was great! Watch out for the chef's special, it's VERY spicy but my husband enjoyed it. Too hot for me! But the rogan josh went down well. Service was quick and the bill was surprisingly low. About to become our regular venue.

Lovely grub! Even on a busy Friday night they were still quick to seat us, quick to take our orders and quick to feed us. Great place for a fun Friday night with the lads.

We watched this place develop from an empty shop-front shell to a fully kitted-out restaurant, and finally went to visit tonight, a couple of weeks after they opened. Now I wouldn't call myself an expert on Indian food, but I am partial to a good curry. And I'm here to ...tell you they serve a VERY good curry!

I had the Lamb Punjabi, and it was perfect. Nice 'n spicy but amazingly full of flavour. Not just hot-hot-hot, loads of taste too. Precious few Indian chefs seem to be able to manage this; they'll either make it mild-and-tasty, or hot-and-hot. I'm happy to report Aziz Khan found one of these precious few! Others around the table had Tandoori King Prawn, Chicken Korma and Lamb Biryani, and they were all as happy with theirs as I was with mine. Poppadums with chutneys, two different Nan breads, two different Bhajees and two different sorts of rice accompanied. Again, all spot on.

Service was attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. The food arrived quickly, albeit with one minor mistake which was promptly corrected. Quality was very high. Good value too!

What would I change if I could? There is really only one suggestion I could make: when you come to take the drinks order, drop off some poppadums etc. right away. Add a quid onto the main course prices if you must, but get some munchies down quickly.

So full marks to Aziz Khan, I'm very impressed. We'll be back!
